WHAT’S THE TEAM LIKE
The Guest Experience team is the heartbeat of hospitality at YYC Calgary International Airport, creating memorable moments for every traveler. From managing our iconic White Hat Volunteers and PALs to enhancing accessibility and amenities, the team leads initiatives that make the airport feel welcoming and world-class. Their work directly supports Calgary Airports’ commitment to exceptional service, ensuring guests feel cared for from arrival to departure.
WHAT ARE SOME OF THE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate day-to-day operations of volunteer programs, including scheduling, attendance tracking, and shift coverage.
- Support the delivery of White Hat Ceremonies, PALS special events and Meet & Assist services and ensure volunteer availability.
- Maintain program documentation and respond to volunteer and stakeholder inquiries.
- Assist in designing and facilitating onboarding and training for volunteers.
- Liaise with internal teams and external partners to support program delivery and communications.
- Track volunteer engagement metrics and contribute to program evaluation and reporting.
- Coordinate logistics and execution for volunteer-led events and recognition initiatives.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING

- 2–4 years of progressively responsible experience in coordination, administration, or operations, preferably in guest experience, hospitality, or volunteer programs.
- Post-secondary diploma in Aviation Management, Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Non-Profit management, Volunteer Management, or Human Resources. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Demonstrated experience supporting training, mentoring, or onboarding of volunteers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience coordinating logistics, managing resources, and supporting process improvements in a dynamic, service-oriented setting.
WHAT ADDITIONAL SKILLS ARE AN ASSET
- Bilingual in English and French
- Experience with event planning or program evaluation.
