Hourly Rate: $23.50 

Status: Full-Time, 12-month term, expected start date May 2026 

Work environment: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days WFH)

The Accounting team plays a key role in keeping our organization running smoothly. They ensure accurate financial reporting, support budgeting and forecasting, and collaborate with many departments to help drive smart business decisions.

WHAT ARE SOME OF THE RESPONSIBILITIES   

  • Assist with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable invoicing and disbursements. 
  • Support month end closings by preparing reconciliations and reviewing entries. 
  • Assist with keeping our capital records up to date. 
  • Assist with payments and other day accounting tasks. 
  • Help monitor budgets and track expenditure across departments as needed. 
  • Perform basic data entry to maintain accuracy in the systems. 
  • Help the team get ready with audits by organizing and updating documents. 

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING 

  • To qualify for a Co-op position, you must be enrolled in a post-secondary program (BBA, BCom or equivalent) that requires a work term as a formal component of the curriculum, and you must provide documentation confirming that the work term is an academic requirement. 
  • You’ll need to be eligible to obtain and maintain a RAIC, don’t worry – we’ll help you through this! For more details, check out: RAIC Program and Application Information. 
  • Strong organization and attention to detail — you like keeping things accurate and on track. 
  • A curious, proactive attitude and a willingness to learn new tools and tasks. 
  • Comfortable working with others and contributing positively to a team environment. 

WHAT ADDITIONAL SKILLS ARE AN ASSET 

  • Bilingual in English and French.
  • Demonstrated experience working with financial data, spreadsheets, or accounting software in an academic or work setting. 
  • Ability to accurately enter, review, and verify numerical information with detailing. 
  • Experience handling confidential or sensitive information in a professional environment.
