We’re in the business of uplifting people, and every day, we create runways to new places and possibilities, building a better airport experience for everyone.
WHAT’S THE TEAM LIKE
The Emergency Preparedness team at Calgary Airports plans, tests, and improves how the airport responds to emergencies, disruptions, and unexpected events to keep passengers, staff, and operations safe. Their work matters because preparedness and coordinated response are critical in a busy, 24/7 airport environment where safety and continuity are essential. By working across departments and with external partners, the team supports safe operations, regulatory compliance, and operational resilience, helping Calgary Airports remain reliable during both routine activities and high impact situations. Students are included in real preparedness activities, gaining hands-on exposure to how emergency planning works in practice.
