WHAT’S THE TEAM LIKE
IT Services ensures that our IT processes and equipment effectively support the corporate enterprise and 24/7 airport operations. This team of high performers connects our people and technology to deliver seamless IT operations every day. We are responsible for the governance of the IT Service Management framework, which is how we run IT change management, incident & request management, knowledge management, and support of the ITSM platform ensuring the successful transition of services into operations. This role will collaborate and coordinate with other members of Calgary Airport’s IT and operations teams and will play a key part in our service improvement programs and platform.
WHAT ARE SOME OF THE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze current business & IT processes, workflows, and procedures to identify improvement opportunities.
- Document and help develop processes and procedures that enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer outcomes.
- Engage and collaborate with stakeholders on ITSM initiatives.
- Participate in, prepare for, host, and summarize meetings (notes, action items, next steps).
- Research and develop presentations on ITSM processes and platform enhancements for IT audiences.
- Prepare, review, and compare technical documentation to ensure alignment with approved processes.
- Other duties as assigned, supporting service transition and continuous improvement activities.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING
- We welcome applications from students who meet one of the following criteria: You must be enrolled in a post‑secondary diploma or bachelor’s program in IT Networks, IT Systems, Computer Science or a related field and
(a) be registered in a co‑op work term that aligns with the term of this role, or
(b) be enrolled in a program where a work term is required to graduate.
In either case, you must be able to provide documentation and confirm that you will be returning to school after the work term is completed.

- Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage several tasks simultaneously; being proactive and taking initiative; adapting to varying project needs.
- High level of analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
WHAT ADDITIONAL SKILLS ARE AN ASSET
- Bilingual in English and French
- Basic programming skills to analyze, develop, and manage minor enhancements for the ServiceNow program.
- Understanding of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, and ITSM platform.
